Cowboy Zebra

Sunday we left for a little vacation to Lake Crescent. We stayed in a "camping cabin". Ian was full of questions before we went. I had told him we were going to cook our food over a campfire and spend the night in a cabin. He asked, "Well, how are we going to wash our clothes?" "We don't, we're only going to be gone two nights", "How are we gonna take a bath?" "How are you gonna feed Maggie?" (She's the easiest!).
We had lots of fun and did a good bit of hiking. The boys both said their legs were sore today. Of course they end up hiking about half again as much as we do with all the running in circles along the trail and side jaunts they take!

Of course you've got to roast marshmallows and have s'mores!

Maggie did great on the trip and seemed to really enjoy hiking too! She'd either sleep or be watching out the side of the front pack.
