Cowboy Zebra

My dad had to leave today, but we had a wonderful week with him here!

Elliott was in the middle of a nap when we got on a ferry earlier this week. He was being very pitiful and clingy to Pop. He pretty much attached himself to Pop all week and enjoyed being carried around by him. Yesterday when Elliott hurt his head by flipping off a chair, I picked him up to comfort him. But he wriggled down and walked to the front door, crying all the way. I asked him what he was doing, and he wailed, "Pop!". Pop was outside, and Elliott went out to him to be held and be comforted. Quite amazing to leave Mommy's arms to seek out comfort!
