Here are the guys shooting the corn cannon. There was also a pumpkin cannon which was bigger and louder and a trebuchet.

Monster Truck Ride

Monster Truck Ride

The highlight of the day for the boys was riding in the monster truck. Her took them to a couple of mud pits to do donuts.

Cow Train

Cow Train

The boys rode this cow train at a pumpkin farm this weekend. Maggie really wanted to go and kept saying, "Meeee!! beees!! meeee!! beees!! (Me please). So when the next time around Maggie got to ride with Elliott holding onto her. She doesn't like to leave me, but she sure was ready to ride this train! I expected her to reach out for me once the train started, but she didn't. She just looked straight ahead and said "aaahh" the whole time as the train went over the bumpy path. When it was over, we asked Maggie if she liked the train ride. "YEAH!" she told us enthusiastically.

Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin Carving

Our neighbors invited us to their annual carving party. Here's what we did! The "T" is Nathan's company's logo.

Peter Pan

Peter Pan

Elliott wanted to have clothes like Peter Pan so I told him I'd make him some. Ian thought that was a good idea and asked for some, too. So two old green towels, an old pair of green pants for Elliott, a quickly made pair of pants for Ian and some leftover brown fabric to make belts and the hat and a couple of hours was all it took. For a free quick costume, these boys love to wear them!

One last story...

One last story...

Nana goes home early tomorrow. The kids had a grand time of watching movies and roughhousing with Nana tonight while I went to my bootcamp workout.

Columbus Day

Columbus Day

Since today was Columbus day we watched a few youtube movies about Christopher Columbus during lunchtime. Ian and I then made this boat out of milk cartons.

Airplane

Airplane

Ian made this airplane by himself on Sunday. He got Elliott to help him take it up the driveway and then he tried to push it down the incline and get on it to take off. Unfortunately the plane didn't get off the ground. He was certain that it would work.

Pumpkin Farm #1

Pumpkin Farm #1

After church today, my mom and I decided to go to a pumpkin farm near Olympia. The boys got to do all sorts of fun things. I did the giant wavy slide with them, we all did the little corn maze, but they got to do the other things on their own. The hay maze (which took the boys about 15 minutes to complete each time), ended with this slide. We're planning on going to a different pumpkin farm when Nathan gets back in town. Since we succesfully grew 7 pumpkins this year, we're just going for the fun!

Kiddie Train

Kiddie Train

Elliott rode the train which ends with a long spooky tunnel. I'm not sure what was in the tunnel. He said that lions were in there.
